Hello!
Welcome to Becoming Emma. Thanks for joining me on this crazy adventure of becoming me! I am on an exciting journey of discovering who I am in Christ. I’m always searching for opportunities for my passion for writing and the things that inspire me to collide.
I am twenty, and I am absolutely loving college life. I’m majoring in creative writing with a minor in public relations. I’m not exactly sure where my degree will take me yet, but I hope that it’s a journey immersed in words. I think words are beautiful, and I learn a little more about myself and about God through writing. Hence, this blog is a place I am letting my words free and finding my voice.
I consider any day spent curled up in a blanket while reading a book a good day. I love lacing up my running shoes, going out for a long run, and breathing in crisp mountain air. Empty notebooks filled with possibilities and new pens make me happy. I cherish moments spent in the company of my friends and family. I try to be a morning person, but thank goodness for coffee. Sunshine and pearls always make me smile. I am learning that life isn’t perfect, but I am seeking the grace and goodness of God in the middle of life’s messes.
Most importantly, I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I have been challenged throughout the past few years to find my own faith and grow into a personal relationship with God. I am learning that my identity is found in God. I am growing closer and closer to Him everyday and living in response to His amazing grace.
So, this is just a little bit about me. My prayer is that God would use every word He gives me to write to bring glory to Him. I hope to be open and honest and that you might be encouraged through my ramblings. This blog is just a glimpse into my life, what God is teaching me, and all the experiences He leads me to. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my little spot on the internet.
