It has been a snowy past couple of weeks here in Virginia! I usually despise winter, especially January and February, I can’t stand the cold weather. Snow is pretty, but during a snow storm I’m usually found inside under a blanket with hot chocolate instead of sledding. I prefer warmth and sunshine! So, needless to say I wasn’t too thrilled to wake up Thursday morning to a fresh 6 inches of snow on the ground, I was tired of being cold and snowed in! After I woke up, I stepped outside to get some pictures of the snow. I found myself in awe at the beauty around me. How ironic it is that God uses something in nature that I typically don’t even enjoy to grab my attention! God’s glory is undeniable in such a moment of awe displayed in his creation. I was caught in the moment, standing in worship of the radiance of God that is reflected in his creation. What an amazing God we serve that we can see his beauty displayed in the world around us. So, even though I love the sunshine, I’ll praise God in the sunshine and in the snow!
For ever since the world was created, people have seem the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities- his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. (Romans 1:20)
